There are a lot of things you can say about this weather  but it does deliver opportunities for fun. And Milton is a great place to enjoy winter weather. Here are some suggestions.

Sledding – there are a number of great sledding places for children of all ages. There nice gentle slope at Shields Park (aka Eliot Street Playground), the slope at Milton Academy (corner of Brook and Canton Ave), and there’s President’s golf course of course.

Skating – the Ulin rink is not the only place to skate. You can check out the outdoor skating at Cunningham Park .

Snowshoeing – there is no end to the great walks to be taken in Milton – now yu can snow shoe them! Turners Pond, Pope’s Pond, the Blue Hills.

Skiing – there is the Blue Hills ski area on 138. Not exactly a mountain – but it is only 10 mins away!
