Solar panels on Town Hall have gone to work

Early this month the solar panels that have been installed on the roof of Town Hall went into operation.

There are 136 panels on the roof, each of which is capable of generating 210 watts. All together the panels are capable of 28,560 watts or 28.5 Kilowatts.

This energy is used directly by the building. According to Town Planner Bill Clark, the savings to the town are estimated to be between 25-33% annually.
