Milton Hospital, a clinical affiliated of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ashley B. Yeats, MD, to the position of Associate Director for the Department of Emergency Medicine, and Joseph P. DeAngelis, MD, a Beth Israel Deaconess orthopedic surgeon.
Dr. Yeats is a distinguished clinician and educator in the field of emergency medicine. Previously, Dr. Yeats served as the Assistant Chief of Emergency Medicine at Brigham & Women’s Faulkner Hospital, Hyde Park. Dr. Yeats graduated with Honors – Faculty of Medicine – from The University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario.
Dr. DeAngelis joins Milton Hospital through the hospital’s clinical affiliation with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and sees patients at Milton Hospital each Thursday. He evaluates and treats sports-related injuries and disorders of the knee and shoulder. His clinical expertise includes knee reconstruction, shoulder restoration procedures and shoulder replacement.
He earned his medical degree at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Connecticut.
Dr. DeAngelis completed a Fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
