Milton Hospital’s 16th annual “Tee Off” raises $103,000

Milton Hospital, a clinical affiliate of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center providing community-based health care, announced that it had raised $103,000 for patient care, new technology and health care  services with their 16th annual golf event was sixteenth “Tee Off” was held Monday, September 27, at Wollaston Golf Club in Milton, Massachusetts.

The event attracted 144 golfers from the community as well as sponsors and supporters. Jon W. Cronin, M.D., Milton Hospital physician and event chairman declared the event a success.“We are thrilled about the response to this year’s tournament and about how much was raised for such an important cause,” said Cronin “[and]We are extremely grateful to our sponsors and would like to once again thank Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Fallon Ambulance, Royal Health Group, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Claflin, Insurance Offices of B.R. Alexander & Co., Leaders for Today, The Outsource Group, Mass Bay Urologic Associates, Aramark, Century Bank, Angelica, South Shore Internal Medicine, South Shore Orthopedic Lab, University of Massachusetts Boston, Donaghue, Barrett & Singal, P.C., Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton Hospitalists, Paula O’Malley and Carol Fallon for their contributions.”

The winning team, with a score of 59, was Fran and Tom McKinnon, and Mike and Catherine O’Toole. The longest drive and closest to the pin contests were won by Ned Havern and Peter Bradley, respectively.

Michael and Catherine O’Toole and Fran and Tom McKinnon took home the Harrison Williams Trophy for the tournament’s best score, presented by Event Chair Jon Cronin, MD (center).
