Great turnout for MAD Scramble

Close to 200 runners competed over hill and dale in the 2nd annual MAD Scramble. With a route that takes runners around Turner’s Pond, up and over the lower hills of Canton Ave. and along Pine Tree Brook Trail past Pope’s Pond, it is one of the more interesting community runs in town.

The race was well-organized and there was a strong showing of public support for runners who turned out to in support of Michael A. Devin Memorial Fund. Mr. Devin was a Milton Police detective and Viet Nam veteran who was killed in a tragic car accident. The funds go to college scholarships  for high school students.

The top three finishers were:
