The Milton Police Department retrieved two boxes of .22 caliber shells from Pope’s pond earlier today. This came about after meeting with the 14 year old suspect involved in one of last week’s incidents was done with the assistance of the Quincy Police.

Kristina S. Lee of Milton, a student at Milton Academy, is one of 16 Massachusetts students to win a corporate-sponsored National Merit Scholarship. She is one of only about 1,000 students nationwide to win a corporate scholarship this year in the 55th annual program. (Read the full story here.)
The Milton Department of Public Works (DPW) has established two ways for Milton residents to report street potholes. Residents can call DPW Operations at (617) 898-4900 during regular business hours or leave a message at that number if calling at night or on weekends. Residents can also email the DPW at potholes@townofmilton.org and include the street address and the nearest cross-street where the pothole is located.
