Shamrock Swim Club will hold the last open house of the summer this Sunday, June 23 from 12-5 PM at the Egan Center located at 411 Unquity Rd. The first five people to sign up for a paid in full membership at the pool will receive a $100 discount.

Radio Coffee House is back

It is a beautiful day, out for a walk and happy to see the door to Radio Coffee House open. They had been closed last week but that situation has been resolved. We grabbed a cup of coffee and a muffin and hope you do too.

Milton police log: June 10 to 16

The following information was taken from the Milton police log. Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Monday, June 10
Arrest: At 11:07 a.m., police arrested Stephen Bell, 27, of Quincy and charged him with operating under the influence of drugs, possession of a Class A substance, to wit, heroin, and possession of a Class B substance, to wit, Xanax. The arrest took place at the intersection of Eliot Street and High Street, where police got a call that a car was operating erratically. Police allegedly found drugs and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle which Bell was driving. (Read the full story here.)

Milton’s Pauline Wells to sing National Anthem at Tuesday’s Sox game

Milton resident Pauline Wells will be singing the National Anthem at tonight’s Red Sox game. Ms. Wells is also a Lieutenant with the Cambridge Police Force. Tonight the Sox are hosting the Attorneys General of the United States. The Sox take on the Rays. Lets hope for a better outcome than the trip to Baltimore.
