Milton 350th Celebration: Band & Drum Corps Concert!
There will be a BAND DRUM CORPS CONCERT in honor of Milton’s 350th birthday from 6:00 – 7:30PM at Brooks Field. THIS SATURDAY! The concert will feature a number of drum & bugle corps including the Boston Crusaders, the Spartans, and the Bazooka Blanks (learn more here).

There will be a MHS ALL YEARS REUNION in honor of Milton’s 350th birthday from 8:30 – 11:0AM in the Copeland Field House THIS SATURDAY! Temple Shalom offers Tot Shabbat Service
Temple Shalom of Milton continues its monthly Tot Shabbat Services on Saturday, June 9th, from 11:15 – noon. The service will be held in the foyer of Temple Shalom’s sanctuary in the Great Hall of the First Congregational Church, 495 Canton Avenue, Milton. Entry is through the Centre School doors in the back of the church.
Reception: Photo show captures diversity of a Milton neighborhood
The Milton Public Library, located at 476 Canton Avenue, is hosting a wonderful exhibit during May and June called, “My Neighborhood: 350 Years Later,” by a local amateur photographer in honor of the 350th anniversary of the town. Deborah Milbauer, Milton resident, has taken portraits of families who live in her neighborhood, to show the wide diversity present there.

Discover the Sufi Religious Tradition at East Church
On Wednesday, May 30th, at 7:00pm, in the Chapel at East Church, there will be an opportunity to learn about the Sufi religious tradition from members of the House of Sufism in Boston.
Llew Smith, Robert Ames and Mohammad Nooraee will provide insight into how Sufi meditation works, how they feel the presence of Divine Love and how this love translates into service in the world.
St. Mary’s to offer Special Religious Education program
There will be a meeting at 10:30 am on May 31st at St. Mary of the Hills lower church hall to learn about the SPRED program (Special Religious Education) The program will begin in the fall on the 2nd Saturday of each month from Oct. to May-This program is for intellectually challenged adults 21+.
Children’s Concert at the Gazebo is Back!
The Annual Children’s Concert at the Gazebo is back and scheduled to be held at the Baron Hugo Gazebo at Town Hall on Thursday, June 7th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Musician Wayne Potash will return with his toe tappin’, banjo rockin’, groovin’ music, singing and fun for all ages! Kids who are heading on to kindergarten in the Fall can wear their “I’m Going to Kindergarten” t-shirts and meet other kids who are starting kindergarten in the Fall.

The FHM Civil War Circle (CWC) will meet for its monthly round table discussion on Tuesday, 22 MAY, at 7pm at Forbes House Museum, Milton. The topic will be Blockade Running During the Civil War. New comers are welcome; attendees are encouraged to research the topic and join the lively discussion.
