Cunningham School 5th Grade is inviting the community to donate unwanted items in partnership with the Big Brother Big Sister Foundation on Saturday, October 25th, 9am-1pm. The drop off is at the circular drive at Cunningham School.

BOS Fairskies meeting

BOS Fairskies (formerly MCAAI) group will be meeting on  Saturday, October 25th at 9:30 a.m., Milton Public Library, Downstairs conference room.

Meeting: Board of Selectmen

The Board of Selectmen will be meeting in the Cronin Conference Room at Town Hall on Tuesday October 21 @ 6:30. The agenda includes but is not limited to an Ebola preparedness discussion, demolition bid for 0 Central Ave (Hendries), MPEG Access contract and comment period. You can find the full agenda here.

The Milton Planning Board will be meeting at the Milton Access TV studios (Pierce Middle School, 451 CentralAve) on Tuesday, Oct 21 at 7:00. Padera smokes the field in “All in for Chris” 5K

Becky Padera topped the field in this afternoon’s 5K “All in for Chris” 5K road race. The race was part oaf an afternoon of events to raise funds in support of Chris Lynch who is undergoing cancer treatment.   Daniel Mulhern and Jefferson Ryder finished 2nd and 3rd.

Republican looks to oust 20-year Norfolk County commissioner

A Republican is looking to knock off a 20-year Norfolk County commissioner in this year’s general election.
Peter Collins, D-Milton, was first elected to the position in 1994. Collins’ father, James, held a commission seat for 28 years. (Read the full story here.)
