The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) has extended by more than a month the public comment period for the Neponset River Trail extension.
Comments will now be accepted, by email or phone, through August 14, 2010.

The Boston Red Sox have signed Milton’s Rich Hill, a left-handed pitcher who has a 21-20 big-league record over five seasons. Hill will be assigned to Triple-A Pawtucket, where he will be given a chance as a reliever. Of his 78 major league games, 70 have been as a starter. (See the full story here.)
