Parents sue town after fatal crash

The parents of a Milton woman killed in a July 2008 car crash are suing The Kraft Group and the town of Foxborough, contending that security at Gillette Stadium failed to prevent ticketless underage drinkers from partying and consuming alcohol in the stadium parking lot during a rowdy annual music event before getting behind the wheel to drive home. Two years after agreement, Ponkapoag remains in state’s hands

Two years ago, state legislators gave the go-ahead for the state to solicit private contractors in order to manage the popular, but dilapidated Ponkapoag Golf Course, designed by legendary golf architect Donald Ross.  It was their hope that a new manager, in partnership with the state, could take control of the facility, known as Ponky, and restore some of its past glory.  (Read the full story here.)
