On Thursday, August 27th, there was a short debate between Congressman Lynch and his challenger in the upcoming Democratic Primary, Milton resident Mac D’Alessandro. (Click “Read more” for video link). Mr. D’Alessandro had been pressing the Congressman for a debate.
While national economic numbers continue to be gloomy, there is some sunlight here in Milton. Specifically, Milton housing sales are strong and prices are edging up.

Senator Brian A. Joyce and Representatives Walter F. Timilty, Linda Dorcena Forry and Angelo Scaccia recently announced that Milton will receive an additional $327,683 in funding for the public schools from the federal Education Jobs Fund.
This was Milton Farmer’s Market week here in Massachusetts and yesterday Senator Joyce was on hand to read a proclamation from the Governor at the Milton Farmer’ Market.
