Four hurt when car overturns in Milton

Four people were injured when the car they were in flipped onto its roof on the Blue Hills Parkway in Milton.

Elizabeth Canty, 20, of Milton was driving when the accident happened, at about 1:30 a.m.(Read the full story here.)

The Milton Democratic Town Committee invites all registered democrats to the Caucus on Thursday, February 11th, Pierce Middle School Auditorium at 7 pm. The purpose of the caucus is to elect 20 delegates from Milton to represent the town at the convention on June 5th, Worcester Mass.

Lincoln Day 2010!

Every year around this time The Forbes House Museum celebrates Abraham Lincoln. Mary Bowditch Forbes, the last Forbes to live in the house at 215 Adams Street, was an avid collector of Lincoln memorabilia. Independent consultant endorses recommendation to establish independent facilities department

In January of 2009, the Consolidated Facilities Exploratory Committee (CFEC) released its findings.

The committee had been appointed in January of 2008 by the Board of Selectmen to assess the possibility of “creating a new Town of Milton facilities department by combining pre-existing and anticipated maintenance services that presently take place through separate departments within the town and the school department.”
