Four people were injured when the car they were in flipped onto its roof on the Blue Hills Parkway in Milton.

Every year around this time The Forbes House Museum celebrates Abraham Lincoln. Mary Bowditch Forbes, the last Forbes to live in the house at 215 Adams Street, was an avid collector of Lincoln memorabilia. The celebration includes music, re-enactors, and hot chocolate. In January of 2009, the Consolidated Facilities Exploratory Committee (CFEC) released its findings.
The committee had been appointed in January of 2008 by the Board of Selectmen to assess the possibility of “creating a new Town of Milton facilities department by combining pre-existing and anticipated maintenance services that presently take place through separate departments within the town and the school department.”
