An error in judgment; a change in policy

In the past month the Boston Globe has published two stories about Milton politicians, one about Governor Patrick and another about Sentor Joyce. Consistent with our policy of “all things Milton,” we linked to those articles. That was an error in judgment.

Wednesday February 11, 2015 from 3pm to 5pm, join the NEW after school library club TeenM.A.G. (Music, Art, and Gaming). Once a month, the teen librarian, Amy Rosa, invites any teens in grades 6 to 12 to join her downstairs in the Keys Community Room for open gaming, music, and arts and crafts.

MBTA will be running buses tomorrow (Monday) on Mattapan line
THe MBTA has notified town hall that they will be running buses tomorrow on the Mattapan line. Thanks to Selectman Tom Hurley for passing this along.

We have another snowstorm on our door step that will require us to shutdown the Mattapan line and replace the service with an alternative bus shuttle.
Another foot of snow headed to southeastern Massachusetts

Six days after one of the worst blizzards in the history of southeastern Massachusetts, the National Weather Service predicts 8 to 15 inches of snow for Norfolk, Plymouth and Bristol counties, with a foot the most likely accumulation. Snow will begin falling around midnight Sunday. (Read the full here.)
MPD Notice: Snow removal operations to take place this evening (Sat)

ATTENTION – CLEARLY OUR STREETS ARE LOADED WITH SNOW.
Tonight (Sat) there will be three nighttime SNOW removal operations ongoing. DPW Crews will be removing snow from East Milton Square, Milton Village and the Central Ave Business Districts, beginning around 9:00 pm.

Lee Toma took some nifty shots last Thursday of the Trailside Museum’s Director Norman Smith with a feathered friend. This snowy owl had been captured at Logan airport earlier in the day and will be released in the Duxbury area where we hope it will live a long life. Please click “Read more” for additional photos.
