Members of the Milton Republican Town Committee are making themselves available to drive registered Milton voters, who will be unable to vote at the polls on Election Day (November 2, 2010), to Town Hall before Election Day to complete absentee ballot applications and to vote. Absentee ballot eligibility requirements and instructions can be viewed on the Town of Milton website here.

When Canton Selectman Bob Burr knocks on doors for his campaign against incumbent Brian Joyce, D-Milton, he said he hears the same concerns over and over. When he first decided to run for state Senate, the Republican thought he’d hear mostly local issues, like concerns over South Coast Rail or Westwood Station, but he said local residents want something simpler from their elected officials. Yesterday had perfect weather for taking advantage of the refreshing Tour de Coops, an informally organized trip around town to see chicken coops. And so we did. Among other things, we learned that the folks who raise chickens are incredibly nice and generous with their time and knowledge.
