Abby Park: Opening August 3rd!
It gives me great pleasure to finally present Abby Park, a modern American full service restaurant. My team and I have been working on this project for the last two years and are proud to bring Milton a restaurant that will not only fill a great need in the community but will also rival dining establishments throughout the Greater Boston Area. The following is our first newsletter and it will give you an idea of where we are with construction and what is to come in the next few months. Stay tuned for even more updates in the coming weeks as our Grand Opening approaches!
Construction Update
The creative and constructive team behind Milton’s highly anticipated new addition know a secret that’s far too good to keep to ourselves any longer. After years of preparation and planning, we are nearly ready to present the community with long-awaited ABBY PARK located in East Milton Square.
The buzz surrounding our project is palpable and the excitement is contagious. What began as a dream for the Abby Park team is now taking physical form on Adams Street with the assistance of brilliant and renowned restaurant designer Steve Todisco and the true professionals at Noble Ventures Construction Team.
Each day the interior looks more and more like a restaurant. The few visitors who have been given a sneak peak can already easily envision a spacious and sleek gathering place for couples families, locals, and visitors alike. One can almost hear sizzling coming from the chef’s line in the already completed open exhibition kitchen. The smell of sawdust and fresh paint will soon give away to delicious and inviting aromas. From a nuts and bolts perspective, construction has progressed without a hitch. The restaurant is already home to two large state-of-the-art walk-in refrigeration systems and an ample freezer. We are installing the elevator down to our handicapped accessible private dining and function area, the Adams Room (for more details and reservations, see below!). The arrival of a 260 bottle wine display marks the beginning of the finishing touches on the dining room!
We are proud to unveil this magnificent example of restaurant design and craftsmanship as the new center piece of East Milton Square. With construction so close to finished, the only thing missing is you, the patrons we are so eager to welcome! We are sure you will be as delighted as we are with Abby Park.
Chef Mike
At this time of year most people start planning their summer on the cape. Not Michael Pirini. Chef Mike couldn’t resist the opportunity to be part of the ground- breaking opportunity that is Abby Park.
A New England Native and Johnson & Wales alum, the talented Chef Mike grew up in a large Italian family rich in culinary tradition. “I was always around food growing up,” he remembers, “Both my father and Grandfather were excellent cooks.” When asked about his food philosophy he references the time spent working on the Cape since 1991. “I know a lot of local farmers and sea farmers out here and I use them as much as I can. I like to let the ingredients shine and bring out the best in each other.”
When asked what sort of place he hopes Abby Park will become, Mike responds, “I want it to be a place where people want to come back. it should be modern, it should be interesting, it’s going to be the place to be. But I want people to come back for the food and for the experience.”
The rest of the Abby Park team couldn’t agree more.
