On Sunday, November 17 at 11 a.m., St. Michael’s Episcopal Church will host an informational coffee-hour for the 6th annual New Orleans Mission Trip. The purpose of the week long trip, scheduled for January 25 to February 1, is to assist those in need including many individuals and areas that continue to feel the effects of Hurricane Katrina. Everyone in Milton and the surrounding community is invited to attend the coffee-hour to learn more about past missions and volunteering for the upcoming trip.

The Holiday Celebration Committee invites you to participate in the Veteran’s Day observation to be held Monday November 11, 2013.
All participants who wish to march in this year’s parade should gather at Milton High School, 25 Gile Road, by 10:30 A.M. The parade will begin to march from Milton High School, onto Canton Avenue and straight to the Town Hall for the Veterans Day observance, which will begin at 11:00 A.M.
Fontbonne Academy to stage “Steel Magnolias”
Fontbonne Academy’s Good Fountain Players will perform the play, “Steel Magnolias” November 22- 24 in the Fontbonne Auditorium, located at 930 Brook Road in Milton. The showtimes are: Friday, November 22, and Saturday, November 23, at 7 p.m.

The next Milton High School Boosters “Cans for Cats” can & bottle recycling drive will be held on Saturday, November 2nd, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Milton High School. The cheerleaders will be at the front entrance of the high school, 25 Gile Road, to collect your 5 cent cans and bottles to redeem them for cash. All funds earned will support their program.
