Bill Ritchie unanimously recommended to be Director of new facilities department
The new Milton facilities department that will consolidate maintenance and property management for all municipal buildings took a major step this evening when the hiring committee unanimously voted to recommend Bill Ritchie to the post of Director of the new department.
2011 Celebration for Education to honor 2 distinguished alumni
This year’s Celebration for Education will be honoring two MHS alumni, Anne Coughlan and Gary Kelly. These distinguished alumni and long-time supporters of education in Milton were announced along with sponsors and Honoray Chairs by event organizers Patti Elliot, Astrid Hajjar and Lisa Viola. Governor Duval Patrick and his wife Diane were among the Honorary Chairs announced.
Public Hearing: East Milton Parking & Access Study
Howrd Stein Hudson will be holding its 2nd community meeting on the East Milton Parking and Access Study they are conduting for the Town of Milton.
It will be held at the Council on Aging on Tuesday 3/22 @ 6:30PM. The COS is located at 10 Walnut Street, Milton, MA.

Last night Senator Scott Brown made an appearance at the Wollaston Golf Club for a book signing and early campaign stop. Approximately 220 people came to meet with the Senator and hear remarks on his upcomimg bid for re-election.
Concert tonight – here’s a video of MHS Jazz musicians discussing music and event
There will be a killer jazz concert this Monday at Milton High in the Winchester Auditorium at 7:00pm (adminssion is $5). The MHS Jazz band is playing and a Milton alumni Gabe stillman will also be on stage with his jazz band from The Illinois Wesleyan University Jazz Ensemble. It will be a great night of great jazz. Trooper struck and injured by Milton man on I-93
