This is the second is a series of art works from students of FAVA (The Friends and Advocates for the Visual Arts). This week’s work is a mixed media work of clay, watercolor, and pastel that was done by Aurora Buchau, a Glover Kindergarten student. She participated in a FAVA Fables Folktales and Mythical Creatures Workshop.

Yesterday Senator Joyce announced that he has filed an amendment that would offer the Ulin rink to Milton for $1 a year for up to 25 years.

Police say man kidnapped girlfriend and boy to get drug money

Meeting notes: Selectmen 05.21.10 – Board revise Ulin rink strategy
The Ulin Rink issue continues to vex the Board of Selectmen. Two issues came to light this past week that have resulted in Selectmen revising their decision to submit a response to the DCR’s RFP for proposals to pursue a permit for management of the Ulin Rink.
