Hearing on bike path tonight, opinions divided
The Board of Selectmen will be holding a hearing this evening to discuss the bike path extension under consideration by the DCR. The DCR intends to extend the bike path from Central Ave along the Neponset out to Mattapan Square will it will link up with the path there that runs along Truman Parkway.

Three suspects eyed by Milton cops caught in Bridgewater house breaks

Finding witnesses to a house break wasn’t tough. Police were following the suspects.
Lt. Chris Delmonte said Bridgewater police got a call from Milton detectives Monday around 12:30 p.m., saying they had some people under surveillance and the folks were headed into Bridgewater. (Read the full story here.)

Art Opening: “Picture the Garden” @ Milton Library

There is an impressive new exhibit on display at the Wotiz Gallery at Milton Public Library.
The exhibit by Milton photographer, Joan Clifford, consists of large flower portraits taken last summer which “showcase the ephemeral beauty of the garden flower.”
The show will have an opening reception Tuesday, June 15th from 6:30 – 8:30pm.
Time to stop the madness on elderly driver safety

Last Saturday an elderly driver in Cambridge drove his car into a bus stop. Four people including a 4 yr old were inside the shelter. Fortunately, the shelter acted as a shield so when the driver, who thought he was stepping on his brake stepped on the gas and drove into them, they didn’t die.

A week ago today the MHS class of 2010 held their graduation.
The two speakers who addressed the gathered throng were especially fresh and genuine and heartfelt. They spoke of love and friendship and the need to be fearless.
