The energy was boundless at anti-bullying rallies that rolled across the Milton public schools yesterday (11/10) as crowds of students chanted, cheered and sang as part of the program titled One Goal, One Community: Moving Beyond Bullying and Empowering for Life.
At a recent public presentation on the status of the East Milton parking study, Keri Pyke of Howard/Stein-Hudson, the firm managing the study, updated the public and invited comments.

It has been a goal of the Milton school administration going back years to provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment in which learning can thrive. Therefore it may not be a surprise that they are tackling the issue of bullying head on and appear to be at the forefront of schools statewide in addressing this issue. Last night’s presentation by Professor Hall at the high school was only the most recent in a series of efforts to combat this adverse behavior.

Last Sunday was the running of the New York City Marathon. It’s not Boston but it is a pretty cool race. Several Miltonites completed the race and kudos to them!

On Saturday, October 30, 2010, Sustainable Milton launched the 2010 Eco Team Challenge at a kickoff event at the Milton Public Library and 14 teams, composed of almost 50 people, have answered the call.
