InSync offering arts classes for the holidays

In Sync Center of the Arts is gearing up for a festive season of creative arts education! Fantastic art teachers will be conducting classes to inspire creative minds and create wonderful holiday keepsakes and gifts in a number of workshops throughout this holiday season.

State ponders installing pond in Blue Hills

The Department of Conservation and Recreation laid out its plans to build a pond at one of four possible sites in the Blue Hills Reservation on Monday night. The project would fulfill a 10-year-old permit obligation to replace wetlands lost when the Quincy Quarries were drained of water and plugged with landfill in 2000. (Read the full story here.)

There was an important Milton first this past week — The First Annual Pierce Middle School Robotics Tournament! 10 teams from the Boston area recently travelled to Pierce Middle School to take part in it.

Body found in Milton may be that of missing NC teen

Milton police may have gotten a break in the case of the unidentified body that was dumped on a quiet street in that town earlier this week. Chief Richard Wells said today that police are investigating whether the body is linked with a missing North Carolina teen. (read the full story here.)
