Deborah Felton to be recognized for service to community and Temple Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills

Screen Shot 2014-11-21 at 7.16.54 AMOn Saturday morning, December 13, 2014, Ms Deborah Felton, Executive Director of Fuller Village and past president of the synagogue will be honored by the Sisterhood of Congregation Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills .

She will be receiving its distinguished Woman of Achievement Award at a Shabbat service to be held at the Congregational Church on Canton Ave. Milton.

Ms. Felton, an attorney has been involved in community and synagogue life in Milton for the past 28 years. Ms. Felton is a long serving Town Meeting member. She was involved with the Milton Public Schools as her children were growing up and was co-chair of the No Place for Hate Committee in Milton. Deborah was vice-president of Religion and Education at the synagogue before becoming President in 2002. She is now on the Building Steering Committee for Congregation Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills and is actively involved in building the future home of the synagogue. Ms. Felton is married to Judge Robert Baylor and has three daughters.

    Deborah congratulations on your upcoming Distinguished woman of Achievement award. I will always remember you were one of the very first people to welcome us to the neighborhood when we moved here 11 years ago. What an honor to know that you will be recognized for all your tireless efforts that have been beneficial to so many. Always using your gifts, talents and your voice for the betterment of all. Thank you for being a wonderful neighbor. This award is well deserved. Three cheers!!! Congrats .
