Brief bits: Reedsdale break-in and animal drop offs

The following two items are from posts on Facebook.

A resident reports that on Thursday someone kicked in her front door and gained entry to the home on Reedsdale Road. House alarms and an alert dog may have convinced the perpetrator to flee. If you noticed anything suspicious in the vicinity of Milton Hospital please contact the Milton Police Department. The MPD strongly encourage residents to report any suspicious activity at any time.

Nancy Barsani, Milton’s Animal Control Officer, asks that anyone who has an animal that they find or cannot care for to call the Animal League before dropping the animal off. A healthy cat was recently left at the shelter and no one was notified. Placing an animal in a kennel without notice can create all sorts of issues. Officer Bersani and the shelter staff do a great job. Please give them a hand by contacting them first if you have an animal that you found or cannot care for.
