Notice: MPD thank alert residents

January 11, 2013

Notice from the Milton Police Department

Housebreaks are a recurring crime in Metro Boston. Yesterday afternoon, (2) MILTON RESIDENTS took our advice, which is if you see someone suspicious in your neighborhood, CALL MPD.. During the afternoon, (4) males from Hyde Park were in the Eliot St./Briarfield neighborhood. They attempted forcible entry at two homes, before breaking into a third house on Briarfield Rd. The two residents acting independently, saw these subjects and watched them enter yards. They then notifed MPD. Responding officers located and identified (4) subjects. They will be charged in Quincy District Court with these crimes. Thank you to the alert residents who took the time to help their police department and their neighbors with this crime in progress. Nice work by all…
