I support renewable energy, including wind turbines. However, even the industry insiders believe that such “health issues” could be avoided if the industry took more seriously the need for correct siting to mitigate sensitivity to unwanted visual and auditory stimuli. When my neighbors slam their house and car doors every morning at dawn, it wakes me up against my will. I understand why one would not want a constant thrumming sound all night. I am sure there is a NIMBY thing in effect here, but turbine siting is a serious issue and must be responsibly addressed, or the whole industry will suffer, along with our environment.
