Take a tour of Neponset projects

NepRWA is going on a tour of the Neponset to review projects and you are invited. Join them as they visit:

  • A rain garden in Milton, to learn from Environmental Scientist Bill Guenther about cleaning up and recharging stormwater.
  • A wetland in Hyde Park, to hear from Restoration Manager Carly Rocklen about Purple loosestrife biological control.
  • Baker Dam and the Neponset River Greenway in Lower Mills, to learn from Executive Director Ian Cooke and Advocacy Director Steve Pearlman about restoring fish passage along the Neponset River. We’ll also discuss bringing the Quincy RiverWalk to life.

Spaces are limited, and registration is required. Rain date: Tues., Aug. 28.
