TJ Unger (M), Dana Deingenis (F) win the MAD Scramble

TJ Unger of Roslindale was the top male finisher in yesterday’s M.A.D. Scramble with a time of 27:41 over the 5 mile course.  Mark McDermott of Mansfield was second (28:36) and Jason Cakouros of Milton third (28:50). The first woman to cross the finish was Dana Deingenis of Quincy with a time of 34:10.

Ms. Deingenis was followed by Jessica Sheller of Milton (35:31) and another Cakouros! – Eileen with a time of 36:12.  You can find complete race results here.

The MAD Scramble is run in honor of Michael Devin. Proceeds from the race fund scholarships, support juvenile athletic programs, and provide assistance to families in need. It is a great race and I am disappointed I coudn’t make it due to covering a Planning Board meeting.
