Milton High Students Receive Adams Scholarships

A good number of Milton High seniors have been awarded the John & Abigail Adams Scholarship. This scholarship from the Massachusetts Department of Education, provides a tuition waiver for up to eight semesters of undergraduate education at a Massachusetts state college or university. Read more »

MHS students enliven Milton Reads! event

Over 25 MHS 9th graders attended the firsts drop-in book discussion group hosted by Milton Reads! 2012. They joined other adults in a discussion of the book To Kill a Mockingbird led by Pierce teacher Jeff Stoodt. The conversation ranged from favorite scenes to Atticus Finch as a father and the role of the past. Read more »

Retired Superior Court Judge George N. Hurd Jr., 92, has a house full of historic treasures. Then there is the Chinese junk model, sent home by his grandfather in the 1930s.
