Sources: Laboure College in negotiations to move to Milton

Laboure College, adjacent to Carney Hospital on Dorchester Ave., could be moving to Milton next year, sources tell the Reporter.

Laboure officials are negotiating with the Sisters of Saint Joseph, who control the old Aquinas College campus next to Fontbonne Academy. (Read the full story here.)

Milton health board says no to smoke-free buffer zone

Smokers can continue to light up in front of stores and offices after the Milton board of health decided against setting up a 25-foot smoke-free buffer zone around business entryways Monday night.

Board members said they supported the idea of a buffer zone, but that it would be nearly impossible to enforce. (Read the full story here.)
