Police Announce Boston Cocaine Trafficking Bust

Milton was among three communities (Boston & Canton other 2) involved in Operation Rodeo, an investigation into a multi-million dollar cocaine operation run by an inmate from Concord House of Corrections. The inmate, Juan Guzman, is said to be engaged to Melissa Mejia, 28 of Milton. She is among those arrested.

Fourteen people have been arrested and charged with operating a multimillion-dollar cocaine ring in Boston, authorities announced in a news conference Monday. (Read the full story here.)

As part of the teen summer reading program, Own the Night, the Milton Public Library will host a Reader’s Café on July 10 from 6-7 p.m. Students in entering grades 6-12 in the fall are invited for an hour of pizza, snacks, and good books with the library’s Young Adult Librarian, Emily Calkins.
