Gayle Neville is Milton’s new Asst Town Clerk

This past week Milton’s recently elected Town Clerk, Susan Galvin, announced that she had hired a new Assistant. Gayle Neville who many may be familiar with from her work in the Parks & Recreation Department is Milton’s new Assistant Town Clerk. Here commute won’t be dramatically affected.

Friends of Library host annual summer cook out

The Friends of the Library hosted their annual summer cook out early Wednesday evening. The grill was fired up outside the front of the library where volunteers served up hot dogs, chips and strawberries. June is ‘Great Outdoors Month’ in the Blue Hills

On a typical day, cars move quickly along Chickatawbut Road, a nine-mile thoroughfare from Braintree to Milton through Blue Hills Reservation.

Starting this weekend, three miles of road between Route 28 in Milton and Willard Street in Quincy will be open only to walkers, bicyclists and rollerbladers from 8 p.m. Saturday until 7 a.m. Monday. (Read the full story here.)
