Bill Ritchie receives Outstanding Green Leader Award at State House

William F. Ritchie, Milton Consolidated Facilities Director, recently received the Outstanding Green Leader award at the State House. It is the most recent in a series of local, state, and national awards Mr. Ritchie has received as a result of his efforts to make Milton’s buildings more energy-efficient and raise conservation consciousness as both environmentally smart and financially beneficial. 350th last but not least: Choir & History Bowl

Boy, the hits just keep coming. Sunday afternoon there was a concert at the First Parish Church. The concert in its gentle way epitomized the entire week end. Choirs from across the community came together to share a passion. The community coming together happened all week end. And last night at the High School John and Maritta Cronin emceed a quiz show on Milton history with Brian Walsh moderating. Read more »

Library Search Committee seeks public input

The Milton Public Library Board of Trustees has appointed a Search Committee to find a new director. Library Trustee members serving on the Committee are Hyacinth Crichlow, Janet Evans, Brendan McLaughlin and Mary Riffe Hiss who has been named chair. Gene Boylan is the Library Foundation representative and Liz Buchanan is representing the Friends of the Milton Library. Read more »
