The weather was a little hit or miss late yesterday afternoon but none of the people swarming the Milton High ball fields gave it a second thought. Food vendors plied their fare and bands played. Their were some warm introductory remarks from Judge Hurd and Brian Kelley. Tom Hurley, Chair of the Board of Selectmen, read a proclamantion – and then Milton’s 350th candles were lit. Fireworks blazed and the music played on and everyone loved it. Thank you 350th Committee and dozens of volunteers who helped to make it happen safely and happily for all. On June 3 at 9:52 a.m., a resident on Apple Lane reported that a fence had been vandalized sometime during the night. Police took a report of the damage. (Read the full story here.)
