This event got lost with all the political hurly burly of the last week; but the Tucker School had a special day not long ago. They celebrated opening day at Fenway and got a visit from Representative Dorcena Forry. Oh boy – and guess who else showed up? Congressman Capuano! He just can’t stay away. Milton High’s Alan Cron gets principal’s job at Rockland High

Alan Cron, an administrator at Milton High for the past 18 years, is headed south to take over as principal of Rockland High School.

He will succeed Stephen Sangster who is retiring after 41 years working for Rockland public schools. (read the full story here.)

Representative Timilty Retains $50,000 in Massachusetts Budget for Milton Directed Patrols

Representative Walter F. Timilty (D–7th Norfolk District) is pleased to announce the adoption of an amendment that he filed that sought funding for an initiative in Milton in the Fiscal Year 2013 budget.

Through their intensive efforts, Representative Timilty and Representative Linda Dorcena Forry have obtained $50,000 for the Milton Police Department, earmarked for directed patrols throughout the town. Read more »
