According to the sample ballot posted on the Town Clerk’s web site there are 259 town meeting candidates running for 279 open town meeting seats. With that many candidates it is not surprising that there might be a snafu. And there appears there might be one in Precinct 2. Read more »

Are you crafty?then the Tucker school wants you.We would like to invite crafters /vendors to participate in our upcoming Spring Fair carded for Saturday June 2nd from 10 am till 2pm at the Tucker Elementary School grounds , 187 Blue Hills Parkway. Wakefield Charitable Trust presents three lectures on the history of the land and occupants of what is today known as the Wakefield Estate, named after its most recent occupant, Mary (“Polly”) Wakefield. Jazz Trio to perform “American Songbook Beyond at Library

On Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 2 PM, the Milton Public Library offers up the last concert in their spring series by hosting the acoustic trio known as “Too Human.” The band is Ellen Bruno, a talented vocalist, and her husband Roger Bruno, percussionist. The trio is then completed by an upright bass player, and their repertoire follows primarily jazz standards for a program they call A Celebration of Song: The American Songbook and Beyond.
