This is our favorite race because of its route. The 5th Annual M.A.D. Scramble will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 6:30 PM at the Pierce Middle School, Milton MA. The race supports the Detective Michael A Devin Memorial Fund. Proceeds from the race fund scholarships, support juvenile athletic programs, and provide assistance to families in need. Read more »

An agenda item, discussion of potential 131 Eliot St. (Hendries) development proposals has been added.  The Planning Board is meeting in the Carol Blute Conference Room at Town Hall on Thursday, May 23 at 6:30PM. The agenda includes but is not limited to a hearing on Coulter Landscaping, 919 Blue Hill Ave., a discussion of the Milton Mews 40 B proposal, and a discussions of draft comments and an RFP for consultant services regarding Master Plan. Milton Teams Up with Friends of the Blue Hills to Green Up the Blue Hills!

All are invited to join the Friends of the Blue Hills for a spring festival of stewardship and fun. The annual Green Up Day will be held on Sunday, June 2, from 1 p.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Ponkapoag AMC Cabins. Volunteers will enjoy music, face painting, crafts and a scavenger hunt while helping with an essential task: pulling up invasive weeds that threaten the Blue Hills. Read more »
